MHSRB Telangana Announces 633 Pharmacist Grade-II Vacancies

The Medical & Health Services Recruitment Board (MHSRB) of Telangana has issued a notification (No. 05/2024) inviting online applications for 633 Pharmacist Grade-II posts in various government departments. This recruitment is for general posts under multiple departments, and interested candidates can apply via the official website from 5th October to 21st October 2024.

Key Application Dates:

• Start Date for Online Applications: 5th October 2024
• Last Date to Apply: 21st October 2024 (up to 5:00 PM)
• Form Correction Window: 23rd October 2024 (from 10:30 AM) to 24th October 2024 (up to 5:00 PM)
• Examination Date (CBT): 30th November 2024

Eligibility Criteria:

• Educational Qualifications: Candidates must possess one of the following:
  • D.Pharmacy
  • B.Pharmacy
  • Pharm.D
  Additionally, candidates must be registered with the Telangana Pharmacy Council or complete registration before applying and upload the registration certificate along with their application.
• Age Limit (as of 1st July 2024):
  • Minimum Age: 18 years
  • Maximum Age: 46 years
  Age relaxation is applicable as per government norms. Candidates are advised to check the official notification for detailed information on age relaxations.

Vacancy Details:

• Director of Public Health and Family Welfare/Director of Medical Education: 446 posts
• Telangana Vaidya Vidhana Parishad (TVVP): 185 posts
• MNJ Institute of Oncology and Regional Cancer Centre: 2 posts
• Total Vacancies: 633

Note: These vacancies are provisional and may be subject to change based on government orders or additional notifications.

Selection Process:

The selection process will be based on a Computer-Based Test (CBT) followed by the evaluation of relevant experience. The selection criteria are:

• 80% weightage: Based on marks obtained in the CBT.
• 20% weightage: Given for experience in state government hospitals or healthcare institutions on a contract or outsourced basis.

Additional points will be awarded based on the duration and location of service (e.g., 2.5 points per six months for tribal area service).

Salary and Pay Scale:

Selected candidates will be offered a pay scale of Rs. 31,040 to Rs. 92,050 as per the guidelines of the Telangana government.

• SC/ST/BC/EWS/PH (Telangana): Rs. 500/-
• Other Categories: Rs. 700/-

Fees must be paid online through the payment gateway provided during the application process. Candidates from other states are not eligible for fee exemptions.
