Eligibility Criteria
- Educational Qualification: Candidates should have a BE/B.Tech/M.Tech in the relevant trade from an AICTE/UGC-recognized university or institution. Experience in the operation and maintenance of thermal power units with a capacity of 210 MW or more is mandatory.
- Work Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience for Assistant Engineer or 9 years for Junior Engineer in related roles.
Selection Process
- Computer-Based Test (CBT): Candidates will be selected based on their performance in the CBT, which will consist of 100 multiple-choice questions (MCQs) for a total of 100 marks. Each question will carry 1 mark, and there will be no negative marking.
- Merit List: A merit list will be prepared based on the CBT scores, and selected candidates will be invited for document verification.
- Walk-In-Interview for Differently-Abled Candidates: Candidates with disabilities will be selected based on a walk-in interview, provided they meet the minimum eligibility requirements.
Exam Pattern
- Total Questions: 100
- Duration: 2 hours

- 75 questions will be based on thermal power plant operations, including boiler, turbine, and ash handling.
- 25 questions will cover general knowledge and reasoning.
- The exam will be conducted in both Hindi and English.
