Eligibility Criteria for PSTET 2024
To qualify for the Primary Teacher Eligibility Test (PSTET 2024), candidates must meet the following educational qualifications:
- For Primary Teacher (Class 1-5):
- Must have passed Higher Secondary (12th) with at least 50% marks.
- Should hold a 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed), or its equivalent qualification.
- Other acceptable qualifications include a 4-year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed.) or a Diploma in Special Education.
- Relaxation for Reserved Categories:
- SC/ST/OBC/EWS and differently-abled candidates from Punjab are eligible for a relaxation of 5% in the minimum required marks.
