Pay Scales

For candidates appointed on a contractual basis, the monthly lump sum remuneration for Professors and Additional Professors is ₹2,20,000 and ₹2,00,000 respectively.
Eligibility Criteria
The eligibility criteria vary based on the rank and specialty, but here is a broad overview:
- For Professors and Additional Professors: A postgraduate medical degree (MD/MS) in the relevant specialty, along with at least 10-14 years of teaching experience.
- For Associate and Assistant Professors: A postgraduate medical degree (MD/MS) in the relevant specialty, along with at least 3-6 years of teaching experience.
In super-specialty disciplines, a D.M./M.Ch. qualification in the relevant specialty is required.
Age Limits
- Professor/Additional Professor: Maximum age of 58 years as of the application closing date.

- Age Relaxation: Age relaxations are applicable for SC/ST/OBC/PWD candidates as per government rules.
