Railway RRC ER Kolkata Apprenticeship Recruitment 2024-2025
Eastern Railway (ER) Recruitment Cell, Kolkata has announced openings for Various Trade Apprentices under the Apprentices Act, 1961 for the year 2024-2025. Eligible candidates can apply online for these positions from 24th September 2024 to 23rd October 2024, up to 5:00 PM.

Application Fees
- General/OBC/EWS: ₹100
- SC/ST/PH/Female Candidates: Exempted (No fee)
Note: Fees must be paid online using Debit/Credit Card or Net Banking.
Eligibility Criteria
- Age Limit: As of 23rd October 2024
- Minimum: 15 years
- Maximum: 24 years
- Age relaxation as per RRC ER Apprentice rules 2024-2025.
- Educational Qualification:
- Candidates must have passed Class 10/Matriculation with 50% marks and possess an ITI/NCVT Certificate in the relevant trade.

Selection Process
- Selection will be based on a merit list generated from the average marks of Class 10th and ITI exams. Equal weightage will be given to both scores.
Important Information
- Applications must be submitted online only. Any other mode of application will not be accepted.
- Candidates should ensure their eligibility before applying.
- 4% of the total seats are reserved for candidates with Benchmark Disabilities (PwBD).
- Training under this apprenticeship does not guarantee employment in Indian Railways.
