UPPSC Assistant Registrar Recruitment 2024

The Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission (UPPSC) has released a notification for the recruitment of Assistant Registrar under the Higher Education Department. Candidates interested in applying for this Group-B, non-gazetted post must go through the following details carefully.

  • Start Date of Online Application: August 28, 2024
  • Last Date for Online Application Submission and Fee Payment: September 28, 2024
  • Last Date for Fee Reconciliation/Correction: October 5, 2024

Important Instructions:

  1. One Time Registration (OTR):
    • Candidates must complete the One Time Registration (OTR) before applying. The OTR number can be obtained from the official OTR portal https://otr.pariksha.nic.in.
    • Ensure that the OTR process is completed at least 72 hours before starting the application.
  2. Application Process:
    • The application is divided into four stages:
      • Stage 1: Authentication using OTR details.
      • Stage 2: Submission of address details and educational qualifications.
      • Stage 3: Fee payment (Net Banking, Card Payments, or Other Modes).
      • Stage 4: Submission of the final application.
  3. Fee Structure:
    • General, EWS, and OBC Candidates: ₹225
    • SC/ST Candidates: ₹105
    • PWD Candidates: ₹25
    • Ex-Servicemen: ₹105

Eligibility Criteria:

  • Educational Qualification:
    • Candidates must hold a Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized university.
    • Minimum 7 years of working experience in a Government Office or a University with knowledge of Hindi and English drafting, along with accounts rules, is essential.
  • Age Limit:
    • Minimum age: 30 years
    • Maximum age: 45 years (as of July 1, 2024)
    • Age relaxation is applicable as per UP Government rules.

The total number of vacancies for the Assistant Registrar post is 38. The category-wise vacancy distribution is as follows:
